Today is the first day of the second semester at Kirkwood, and it's snowing like CRAZY!!! It started around 11:00AM and it is still going strong. I still have to go to work today none-the-less, and I really can't wait to go. The past few days since I have been back in Cedar Rapids I was working at the Kirkwood Open Horse Show and those days ended with huge sinus headaches. So I ended up going home early and crashing after taking some Benadryl.
Today is also the first day that the McCafe will open in the store that I work in and my manager has made me promise to hold off on the coffee until after work. Hahaha. I guess I will be a good girl and hold onto that. I wonder what other changes have been made to the store and if any people have come or gone. My manager has already told me that one of the closers has been fired over the break because she no-called;no-showed more than three times.
Right now I am watching Dr. Phil and hoping that I have the day off tomorrow so I can watch the Biggest Loser and see the hot, sweet trainer, Bob Harper, lose his temper at one of the contestants. I am a member of his website and he says we are all going to crack up since he usually doesn't do that. lol If I don't get it off, it won't surprise me but I will still be sad. Oh well, I'll catch it on youtube.
I guess I'm going to try and catch some z's before work, I'll try and update later.
