Signs of Spring

Ah, Spring. The time when Mother Nature teases us with a warm weather stretch only to be followed by a cold snap. Well, I think that the cold snaps are over. The oldest mare on the farm, Miss Cabana, has been letting go of her winter coat in the past couple of days, and I swept up enough hair to cover Lassie after I groomed her this afternoon. The birds have also been heading North in full swing. These past few days, the trees have been full of birds and we have a few robins that have made their home on the farm. I just love Spring!! Sadly, I am fighting a headache right now, and my back and neck are a little stiff. I am really hoping I am not coming down with something...such as the dreaded flu! Good night, readers!
